Proud to be an American

Dear American Soldier:

How do we, as Americans, while living in the comfort of the freedom of this nation, even begin to comprehend all that is happening across the seas, because all we see and all we know as we sit on our couches in our air conditioned homes, is what we see through our televisions, or hear on our radios, or read in our papers.  So how, please tell us do we possibly thank you enough?

No matter how many different opinions there are , no matter what we each believe on all the different issues of our day, there is one thing we are most united on, and that would be the grartefulness that we as Americans have to you, our soldiers, God's appointed warriors, our heroes

It is our nature to take for granted the things we have always had.  Our generation has always had the right to speak and write and do what we want as long as it does not threaten the rights of others.  We are able to be here today without the fear of being persecuted.  HOW GREAT IS THAT!!

So tell us, how do we thank you?  We want you to know that your efforts are not in vain because we are going to have fun today, enjoy our freedom on this wonderful fall weekend at the maze and know we are able to do this because of that very freedom you are fighting to protect.  Most of all and above everything, we hope and pray that you can join us soon.
